Telegraph Cove, Vancouver Island, BC

Telegraph Cove was established between 1912 during the building of the telegraph line from Campbell River. Telegraph Cove started as a one-room station, the northern terminus of a telegraph line that began in Campbell River and stretched from tree to tree along Vancouver Island’s east coast. During the last world war, a relay station was located here.
